Anthropic to Create 200 Jobs in Dublin, Expanding Six-Fold
Anthropic is expanding its Dublin presence significantly—the AI company announced plans to create 200 new jobs in Ireland, bringing its Irish headcount to close to 300.
The company, which established its European headquarters in Dublin in 2024, is increasing its office space six-fold to 21,000 square feet in a new central Dublin location to accommodate the growth. The new roles will be in engineering, sales, finance, legal and compliance, and operations—and will be created between now and 2027.
Among the positions currently open: a staff software engineer role with a salary up to €355,000, and a sales development manager role up to €225,000.
The expansion comes in response to strong enterprise demand in Europe. Anthropic said its EMEA run-rate revenue has increased 11-fold year-over-year. Customers in Ireland include Wayflyer, Manna, and Tines. Claude recently topped the free iPhone apps chart in Ireland.
"What we hear consistently from Europe's largest businesses is that they want AI they can trust—systems that are safe, reliable and built with their interests in mind," said President and co-founder Daniela Amodei. "That's exactly what Anthropic exists to provide and Dublin is the ideal base to deliver it."
The expansion follows Anthropic's massive $30 billion Series G funding round in March, which valued the company at $380 billion. Taoiseach Micheál Martin welcomed the announcement as "a strong vote of confidence in our thriving technology ecosystem and our position as a global hub for AI innovation."
